Syncing with Google Calendar

Connecting your Google Calendar means ukix calendar knows when you're busy and won't let anyone book during those times. It also adds booked appointments to your calendar automatically.

1. Connect your calendar

Go to Settings → Calendars and click 'Connect Google Calendar.' You'll be asked to sign in to your Google account and grant permission. We only ask for calendar access — we can't read your emails or files.

2. Choose which calendars to check

After connecting, you'll see a list of your Google calendars. Select the ones that contain your appointments (like 'Work' or 'Personal'). ukix calendar will check these for conflicts when showing available slots.

3. How sync works

When someone books a time, we automatically create an event in your Google Calendar with the meeting details. If you cancel or reschedule in ukix calendar, the Google Calendar event updates too.

4. Troubleshooting

If slots appear available when you're actually busy, check that the right calendars are selected. If you recently added an event to Google Calendar, wait a minute for the sync to refresh. You can also click 'Refresh' manually in Settings → Calendars.
